GOD’S WORD IS ALIVE!!!
Jesus once said in St John 6:63,
“The Words I speak are Spirit and they are Life.”
One of the most significantly miraculous truths that a Believer can hold on to is the fact that “God has breathed life” into the words of the
Holy Bible.
What’s even more miraculous is that the everyday Believer is capable of making the Words of God come alive in his or her everyday
life. When one “speaks” the Word of God into situations that occur in everyday life, situations in life can be changed and victories can be
achieved that originally may have seemed impossible.
HOW: I can recall the day of my nieces wedding shower, it was a very happy event and I carried the fun of the day home with me. As I
approached my front door, I heard my phone ringing off the hook. I rushed in to answer the phone, only to hear the voice of a police officer
on the other end of the phone. He informed that my son was probably deceased already at a local hospital and that I should get there
immediately to claim his body. I immediately explained to the officer that my son was born-again, a first-born, and was not dead, nor would
he die. I began quoting scriptures from the Word of God regarding my sons life, and immediately went to the hospital.
Upon arriving at the hospital, I learned that my son was in surgery. I continued speaking the Word of God, and believed in my heart that
God would not let him die. I continually quoted “my son will live and not die and declare the work of the Lord”, as found in Psalms 118:17. I
began to visualize the surgery being successful and my son laughing and talking with me, as we used to do in the past. Before long the
surgery was over, and the doctor came out informing me that my son was going to be alright!
